Who’s up for nine days in Paris and Giverny, painting in world-famous locations? Join us in September 2020 as we immerse ourselves in the gardens of France.
Our first stop will be Paris (because, PARIS!) for a get acquainted session with the city. We’ll make a trip to L’Orangerie to ogle Monet’s colossal waterlilies, the study and painting of which dominated the last thirty years of his life.
Next we’ll head to charming and quaint Giverny, just an hour and a quarter northwest of Paris by train. The village boasts charming lanes, churches, gardens and museums, all infinitely walkable and perfect for painting. Explore or set up an easel in the early morning, and then we’ll stroll down to visit Monet’s masterpiece gardens. And we do mean masterpiece! We’ll tour both house and plantings and then move on to the natural areas and outstanding lily ponds.
